The powerful chimeric merge didn't leave Peter's mind and he considered what he could do with the symbiote. Merge it with one of the heroes or villains? And what would the result be? Some sort of half-human/half-symbiote hybrid? Or would it simply mean that the symbiote had bonded to them? Peter scowled and discarded these ideas. He was curious about what the symbiote could do for him, not how it could ruin others. Maybe he was thinking too complicated.
For a test he choose to merge the symbiote with its own offspring, the Carnage symbiote, timeline and logic be damned. At first he used the retroactive function and previewed what would happen. What he saw was disturbing him, but held a weird appeal.
The new symbiote would be far more powerful and not just in its shapeshifting or enhancement. It would have influenced Peter more, not just increasing his temper. He would have soon turned into a more terrifying version of Venom, going by Scourge. Ultimately Peter would have been separated before they could enter a permanent bond, something about Peter made it difficult. Throughout the years Spider-Man would often have trouble with this symbiote, much like Peter now had with Venom. There was however one key difference: Peter would often long after the symbiote and it would always treasure him, abandoning hosts when they hurt Peter too much. It understood that it could never bond to Peter, yet would not hate him for it. It would always love him.
The idea that the symbiote loved the alternate Peter reminded the one in front of the Master PC of the alternate Ann Weying who turned into Depravity. Her symbiote had been her lover in a rather graphical sense and Peter wondered what that would be like. To have a symbiote as a lover.
