Thanks to Wayne Enterprises' supersonic jet, it took less than an hour for Alfred to arrive in Metropolis.
"I must admit, you have me very curious," Lex Luthor said as Alfred and Bryce came into his office. "And who is this adorable creature?"
"My ward Bryce," Alfred said. "Bryce, say hello."
"H'lo," Bryce mumbled as she curtsied.
Mr. Luthor was making her nervous, and she averted her eyes.
