Lex Luthor was a man accustomed to secrecy.
Between government black labs and LuthorCorp's own Ultraviolet Room, he'd been in more restricted areas than he could remember. So to say he was impressed with the security procedures of one BTI was to say that they were very impressive indeed.
The invitation had arrived one morning in a plain white envelope on his desk - no-one knew how it got there, and the security cameras only showed a burst of static before it appeared (three people were fired). The letter itself was printed in plain black type on a plain white sheet of paper (the lab said the was absolutely nothing special about it). The car it said would pick him up was entirely unmarked and unremarkable (less luxurious than he was used to, but sometimes discomfort was the price of secrecy). The building it drove him to was equally indistinct, an office building nestled amongst Metropolis's sea of office buildings (he noted the address, and would have someone take a look at the ownership records immediately).
The office lobby was the first thing about the day's events that out of the ordinary - other than the door he'd entered through, there were no other exits, and the room was entirely empty, save for a single desk in the centre. The young woman who sat at it looked up as he entered. Her blonde hair was pulled into twin ponytails, and black-and-red glasses framed her eyes. She looked every bit the professional businesswoman - until she stood up, that is.
As she stepped out from behind the desk to greet him, Lex was struck first by her spectacular breasts. He'd been with many beautiful women in his time - "billionaire" is a powerful aphrodisiac - but not a one of them had had breasts that good, her pale flesh spilling over the top of a red blouse that was easily two sizes too small. Her legs, too, framed by a tight black number too short to be properly called a "skirt",  were amazing, long and lean and bare. Whoever this company were, Luthor thought, they had to have serious money to attract... talent... this good.
"So glad you could join us today, Mister Luthor." She sounded glad, too, as though her day had been genuinely improved by his arrival. There was a hint of an accent to her speech, but Lex couldn't place it; months of accent training, by the sounds of it, had nearly eradicated it. "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise for all the secrecy. My employer appreciates your co-operation. The... field," she chose her words carefully, "of our work requires a certain degree of privacy. If you could just follow me through, I'll take you to see Mr Fink now."
