“Sold to the lady in the leather coat,” Mike rung it up, “Hay did you hear about the Avengers battle last night?”

“Yeah, a bunch of goons in spandex think they can take down the Avengers,” Vicki giggled, “What were they smoking?”

“Hay they did take out part of Paris with their death ray…”

Mary-Jane Parker was use to weird, you could say it was her life.  She was married to Spiderman for starters then her carrier as an actress and model meant that she had to deal with weird costumes, sets, characters and scripts all the time.  But being hired as a hand model for a comic book company’s advertising division?
The elevator pinged and the door opened.  Her agent and some suits were waiting for her.

“Mrs. Parker,” the lead suit said, “I’m Mister Heartman from Time Warner’s Merchandizing and Marketing Department.”

“I’m Miss Paris from the DC Comic’s Characters department,” a chubby blonde held out her hand.

“Mr. Willis,” the second man smiled, “I’m the marketing manager for the card game.”

“Hello MJ,” Clark her agent smiled.

“Hi,” Mary-Jane smiled, “So I’m still a little fuzzy on what I’m doing here.”

Clark stepped off to the side with Mary-Jane.

“What’s wrong,” Clark asked.

“You said I had to work today, this weekend and next weekend,” MJ said, “you forgot to mention that the weekends were public appearances.”

“Is that a problem?” Clark asked.

“No,” Mary-Jane sighed, “I sure Pete’s students will love it.  What’s the deal with this promo event?”

“You go, you welcome people and play at some of the tables that are set up,” Clark smiled, “casual dress and light makeup.”

“Hmm, think we can wrangle some free samples for Pete’s students?” Mary-Jane bite her lip.

Five hours later, Mary-Jane held the bags of card packs and shook hands.

“Can I ask why I came in if they went on sale yesterday?” Mary-Jane asked, “And when is the video going up?”

“The other model stepped out and demanded that we not use her image for the NYC campaign,” Mr. Willis shrugged, “The London and LA ads are already up with the locals.  The video should be online tomorrow Mrs. Parker.”

The foil on the boaster pack tore apart, the strange light blue card stuck out.  Pulling it …
