Manuel watched the Grand Opening, was hoping for success even without the ensurances of mind control. Because it would be easier to explain the opening of the duplicate clubs he had prepared. It would be impossible to control all of the supers with just one club in one city. It would leave the other cities defenseless. Which is why he was opening one. The ones in Gotham, New York and Los Angles were ready to become activational. The ones in other hero cities would be opened soon.
So he was waiting in the observation room, letting his front man mingle with them. He paid special attention to the potential V.I.P.s.
In the Club...
Bruce had come to the club to up hold his image of a billionaire playboy, but he had to admit with was a good club. A nice place to relax, at least as Bruce Wayne. Seeing a familiar face he moved to where Lois Lane's 'date' was, and then began to speak to Mr. Kent.
"So Clark, how are you enjoying the Club?" he asked, as they stood on the 30's floor.
"Nice enough. Great idea of having more then one floor for different club crawlers. Seeing a few familiar faces. Many celebrities, Peter Parker from the Daily Bugle, Romanov and Hill from S.H.I.E.L.D. as well.
Though I don't know why the former two are here?" answered the man Bruce knew was Superman.
"Likely invited to keep an eye on the V.I.P. in case some villain decides they need some ransom. Still, this is a great place. Good thing rumor has it there's one coming to Gotham, since I can't be leaving Wayne Enterprises HQ every weekend to come here.
We might want to tell the rest of 'our' friends about this, since it doubles as a place to watch if celebrities keep coming to and a place to chill. The former to prevent kidnappings as I said or robberies of the rich." commited Bruce as he continued to watch people in the building. Which included Clark's enemy, Lex Luthor mixing and mingling with the crowd. Including a long stretch with Lois.
They could also see a blond missile in a sexy minidress head their way, as Cat Grant greeted them, "Clark, what are you and the most eligible man in Gotham talking about?"
