No noticed the bald muscular billionaire watching the battle between his puppets and this group of mutants known as the X-men. He was in an alcove that was hidden from all the participants of the battle but one. Jean Grey noticed a mind watching them with great curiosity and she casually shifted her gaze so she could focus with her powers even more.

Lex Luthor knew that the beautiful redhead Jean Grey-Summers had noticed his mind. He might be using technology to hide his thoughts but he apparently had not developed one that could hide his presence. As soon as the two saw each other Eros let loose. Jean gasped in shock as she identified the multi-billionaire and was then hit by one of the arrows Eros had shot. Lex had also noticed the how the telepath had noticed his presence and when their eyes met he was shot by Eros.

Lex saw this battle was over and decided to retreat and accessing a hidden door escaped. It was curious to him that Jean Grey had did nothing to alert the others to his presence at all. As the billionaire was taken away he thought there might be an opportunity to subvert the beautiful crimson haired telepath to his side.

'We will just have to see.' Luthor smiled to himself as a quick ten minutes later walked into his office.
