It was a slow day in Agrabah and Alladin was off on some adventure. That let Jasmin feeling bored, so she decided to explore the palace. After all, the palace was so huge that there were many, many rooms she had never seen before.She was wandering along a staircase and one of the smaller towers when she heard something. Well, perhaps "heard" wasn't quite the right term. She felt a presence - something whispering in her brain that fascinated her, compelling her to go through a particular door, down, a particular tunnel, and to reach out and tap the wall in a particular combination.
The wall swung open, revealing a small room filled with strange books and arcane artifacts. Obviously, this was one of Jafar's hidden rooms, a back-up to the lab they had found before. At the centre was an especially large tome chained to a platform and beside that was a copy of Jafar's old serpent staff.
The strange muttering was coming from the tome, wanting Jasmien to get closer....
