Peter, Emma, Carol and Sue all stood in front of the address.
“What are you doing here?” Carol asked her fellow building owners.
“I got a call from some guy saying to get down here right away, there was a problem with the building,” Sue said sipping a street vendor coffee.
Peter and Emma both bobbed their heads in agreement. Carol arched an eyebrow and then sighed.
“Same here,” Carol said, “but how did he get our number?”
“I got them when I called the legal trust office. You four are Parker, Danvers, Frost and Richard?” a burly and disgruntled Italian New Yorker said as he came over from a work van.
“Yes, we are and you are?” Sue held out her hand.
“Done with this a cursed ghost house!” the man pulled out an envelope and put it in Sue’s out stretched hand, “If you ever need pool, hot tub or any other plumbing work DO NOT CALL THE MARIO BROTHERS!”
“Pool?” all four perked up as they watched the man storm off.
“Wait a second,” Carol spoke up, “did he say this place was haunted?”
“What kind of place has both ghosts and a pool?” Peter asked trying to make a joke.
